Games ENWorlders play

Other than RPG, wargames and computer games, what games do you people play? Do you play them a lot? Which are your favorite? Which would you recommend?

For my part, I play some board games (Puerto Rico, Carcassonne - GREAT games, chess, scrabble) and some card games (Uno, Mille Bornes, Tarot). I never got into strategy games (Risk, Axis & Allies, etc.)...

As a bonus question, do any of you know if a basketball board game has been made? Couldn't find much on the net...

Thanks in advance

Does Blood Bowl count? Havn't played it in a while, but it's a blast! ;)
Munchkin? ;)
Robo Rally is pretty fun, too! :D

I also play (rarely, tho) Diskwars from FFG. I like that game.

Well, there are way too many cool board games out there, which I play every now and then, but not as much as RPGs. Some of my friends have whole rooms full of boardgames (slightly exaggerated, but just slightly :D).

Game of Thrones by FFG is really good (a bit like Diplomacy), only got to play it once so far (don't own it myself), tho.

I have a group that gets together every other week to play board games. Catan, Carcassone, Citidals, Frag, Empire Builder, Union Pacific, etc. etc. etc.
I also love card games; Cribbage, Rummy 500 and Poker being my favorites.

I was recently introduced to Carcassonne (which was fun) and Munchkin (which is awesome!).

We played two hands of Munchkin, and I won both... with some of my finest rules-lawyering ever in the final combat, if I do say so myself :) Wanna play more of that!

Second Thanee's call on A Game of Thrones (though I do own a copy :) ) - it's not bad. (Unlike Thanee's exaggeration, my DM does have rooms full of board games ;) )

We were supposed to arrange a two- or three-day game of Diplomacy over Easter, but it fell through :( Along with some Kingmaker...

And I'm a big fan of Once Upon a Time from way back. Man. Gotta play some more of that.

Fluxx (never leave the house without it! My vote for Best Card Game Ever), Carcassonne, Apples to Apples (great party game, even for non-gamers), Chrononauts, Kill Dr. Lucky, Lord of the Fries, and a few others from Cheap Ass Games that I can't remember right now.

That's the title I usually give Once Upon a Time :)

I've been glancing at their site for years... I should probably actually spend some money there :)

Girl Genius: The Works looks pretty cool.

Never heard of it. Care to describe it?

They have some of the best games for the best prices, period. Kill Dr. Lucky is sort of the anti-Clue, and has been the centerpiece for many nights huddled over the table trying to off that damn doctor!

Axis and Allies, all three versions. Well, sone to be 4 plus the revised first one. THen we also play History of the World (great fun), Risk 2210, cheap ass games, all 4 grave robber games, and of course Magic.
