Depends on the business, but no lie, I would probably hire her before I hire him.
The biggest red flag I see with her is her unwillingness to come in earlier, but other than that she appears to have adaptability to learn new things and new tech.
His tone and voice are grating, which indicates to me that he's going to be an absolute terror to work with. His condescending tone, and ignorance (I mean, he thinks facebook is the new thing??? Is he THAT out of touch??? and this was from 8 years ago!!!!) will probably make him an extreme liability in many areas where appealing to broad audiences would be useful.
Some of his ideas of what "tech" are, are not tech at all. Microsoft Office skills (such as Excel) is NOT Tech. Anyone who thinks that is tech has no handle on reality. Everything she listed is more tech than anything he listed! She didn't really list tech stuff either (which I would be looking at A+, C#, Python and Web Design, Cloud services networking and other things along those lines as actual "tech"...not the stupid stuff he listed which seems to indicate he has barely a functioning knowledge of a computer, much less what the basic office skills should require if he considers Excel...Tech).
She seems like she would catch on quicker and faster with new ideas than he can.
On the other hand, for accounting services and areas in that arena he may actually be the better choice (though, once again, he may need to be a little bit more up on his game regarding "tech" as there are newer accounting programs than what he listed that will help him with his "Excel" and other listings). There, we need accountability, responsibility, and even someone stuck with the old way of doing things in balancing books and accounts.
They both seem to be looking at two different areas of employment and job types. I cannot fathom why "Tech" would even appeal to him as he seems to think someone who has a computer with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office along with the Microsoft Suite and Adobe suites are "Tech" workers or "tech" saavy. He seems more in line with looking for office workers who don't really work so much with Tech, but with basic office programs.
He didn't really give much about her resume (as he was too busy being full of himself and his own ignorance of tech, cell phones, and basically anything past 1999) so it's harder to tell what her qualifications would be. From what she listed (from a video 8 years ago) she seems like she is able to pick up quickly on new programs that come out which indicates adaptability and the ability to learn which are extremely good assets. Without anything else to go on though, I have to wonder if she has a High School Degree, and doubt she would have a College Degree (which makes me wonder why an office guy in the areas he seems to be into is even interviewing her...but...). I would also have to guess she does not have any work experience. She'll be a tough nut to bring on, but ironically could be a useful individual for a probationary run to see if she does well in areas such as PR (basework/runner), HR (not HR themselves, but a paper pusher), or someone to keep their pulse on the youth of today...etc.
The video itself seems like an old, out of touch, foggie's (which is ironic because I'm probably older than the old man of the video) insulting presentation of their opinion on the younger generation rather than anything that actually represents reality...other than how out of touch whoever made this video is since they think that being able to use a basic computer with basic Microsoft programs means you are involved or knowledgeable about "Tech."
(And we were using Higher "Tech" with stock exchanges and the stock market in the 80s than what this oldster in the video seems to know about...which is insulting not just to the younger generation but anyone who has ever actually had to use or utilized any program higher than the basic computer processing programs out there...which is probably what set me off on this little rant in the first place when watching this video).
