I guess if people keep doing weird things like standing in front of your house and taking pictures of it, you might as well try and monetise it.
If you value money over privacy, sure.and it seemed like they were missing out.
Yeah the Goonies house in Astoria for a long time had big no pictures signage and the neighbors had put up "no parking signs" and it seemed like they were missing out.
The new owners are embracing the history and reaping the financial rewards.
I think this is a different house than the DHSM. This is where Gygax lived while D&D was taking form, while the DHSM was an office/shop TSR opened later in the 70s.I'm with @Morrus on this one. It's cool that these new owners are so amiable and friendly, and that they have found a way to make a few extra dollars (without tainting the legacy of D&D the way its previous owner was doing). But personally? I wouldn't want random people showing up at all hours, unannounced, asking for a tour of my house.
Ah, thanks for the clarification. I definitely had my real estate confused.I think this is a different house than the DHSM. This is where Gygax lived while D&D was taking form, while the DHSM was an office/shop TSR opened later in the 70s.
Drove by the DHSM house/store as well, It was for sale/abandoned.I think this is a different house than the DHSM. This is where Gygax lived while D&D was taking form, while the DHSM was an office/shop TSR opened later in the 70s.
