GEN CON and the Indianapolis Area

I found out that parking for the Embassy Suites is $12.00 a day!!!! Yikes, we already paid $140+ a night, you'd think we'd be allowed to park there, too! Is anyone else staying at the Embassy? Let us know. Paladin and I will be arriving on Tuesday, extremely late so we can get our booth set up on Wednesday without rushing...I hate rushing. We can't wait to meet everyone there!

Yea, I hear that noise, P-wife! Parking at the Westin is $20 a day for valet (the only option avaliable, apparently) and the closest parking is $16 a day, but you can't leave without incurring another charge!!!! I am frantically looking for a cheaper route, and am considering the mall (which is just southeast of the Convention center and connected via the skywalk), however, I am hesitant to leave a rental car in a mall parking lot/deck for several days....

Anyone got any thoughts/suggestions/plans?

We plan to just get screwed over by the parking charge, at least it's a secured lot and they have a patrol. I wouldn't leave you car at the mall parking lot, too risky. Pay the money so you can leave with your car in the same condition you came with it, or at least have someone to sue if it isn't .

Yea, I' afraid that is the route I'll be taking as well - I wonder if the Westin gives you complimentary KY.....
