GenCon 2003 - Gettin' There

Coming from Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, MI, in a two-car caravan with 5-8 friends. Makes me smile just to think about it.

Well, plans are a' firmin' and I've decided that I'm going to make my way to GenCon 2003 from NYC via Harley. I figure it's going to take about 10 hrs, plus a couple for stops and meals. Can't wait! Remember, it's the journey, and not the destination. Well, the destinatiion is pretty cool too!

How else are people gettin' where they're gettin', and where are you all coming from?

HiLiphNy, i might be going with another guy around me, would you want some company on the road... even though i ride a honda shadow. Harley and honda aren't supposed to mix but hey times are changing....lol

I'm no Harley snob, sounds like fun. As they say: two weels good, 4 wheels, bad!

What's the thought on going straight, or breaking it up with an overnight stop?

I will be driving from the Long Island, NY area, probably 12 hours plus stops. As a matter of fact I am looking to join up with somebody else to share the ride. Anybody interested?
