What day is everyone going up this year? I was thinking of going up Tuesday this year, instead of the normal Wednesday.

I'll probably hit town on Tuesday so I can get a head start setting up the booth before the rest of the FDG crew arrives on Wednesday.

But think about how much fun you had!

Oh, I do.

Think about how much fun you WILL have!

Oh, I do.

Think about how we miss you. *sniff*

How can you think of yourself at a time like this, Hyp?

The same way you get to Carnegie Hall! ;)

I'll be there as usual; I'll probably get in around Saturday or Sunday.

Just to remind some of the Gen Con newcomers, Wnworld is great, but we do have a specific Gen Con forum over at community.gencon.com. Feel free to come over, and ask questions; it's a slow time now, so people are just itching for reasons to talk about Gen Con, and questions would be most welcome. We also have some FAQs you can check out.

Also wanted to specifically point out to some of you that seemed concerned that you wife wouldn't let you go to Gen Con, or didn't want you to, that this year will be the third year Gen Con has a SPA program; primarily designed for nongamers, and with a decided slant towards female nongamers AND gamers alike; last year we had knitting, jewelry making, crochet, wine tasting, irish dance classes, yoga; and lots of great stuff, and this year is looking to be even better; we'll have even more programming, and hopefully an open crafting room; so perhaps that could entice some spouses to come. We also had a nursing room tucked away for those who needed it last year, and hopefully we'll have that again next year. Just trying to make Gen Con super family friendly!

If anyone has questions about Gen Con, specifically the forums or the SPA program, please don't hesitate to email me at marimacc (at) gmail.com. Thanks! See you at Gen Con!

Hey! Shouldn't you be on the other boards??? (PS this is tomimouse's husband. :) )

Possibly. Since I live 30 minutes away from Origins, so I tend to go there over Gen Con. Origins this year disappointed me however, since WoTC didn't show and there really much going on in the dealer room. The games were still fun, however. That said, I've never been to Gen Con, so maybe I'll go this year, given that it's really just a couple hours from my house.
