Thank you!

I'm surprised that the post-Tasha's versions of those specific classes and subclasses were so low.
TCOE didn't fix the actually problems with those classes and subclasses because the problems were deep in the design of those classes due to how the playest surveys were analyzed.

Nah. I was just speculating that you might think that we're further apart than we are. If I'm wrong, that's cool

I get what you're getting at, but this is why Ive asked for people to argue the point rather than get sidetracked in a side argument over my tact or how I explain myself.

Or the penetration of Tasha's in play isn't that high.

I've been very satisfied with the Tasha's Rangers

Sure, but that'll happen naturally (rather than you having to request it) if you tone it down a step or two. I'm happy to engage with you regarding your points, but they get lost a little along the way. It's a two-way street. Look: I'm sorry for what's starting to sound like a lecture. I just honestly want to see your points get further traction without so much pushback. Not that any of this ENWorld discussion matters beyond our own entertainment...

How on Earth is the current playtest ranger at 83% approval??

😔 I guess the ranger is just Not For Me. Sure wish they’d at least give us a proper survivalist class in addition to the primal gish.
I think that has to do with what another poster - I think it might have been @mamba - was saying against the 70% playtest threshold. The UAs are actually getting scored, not in a vaccuum, or an absolute scale, but in how they compare to the 2014 version. This doesn't mean that 83% of people like this ranger as their "ideal ranger" - it just means that they like it that much better than the 2014 one.
