GenCon & Camcorders

I got a camcorder for my birtday two years ago and am thinking about about bringing it to record the Ennies and other things. Is it common for people to bring camcorders to GenCon?

Sorry, I have nothing constructive to add to this thread. Just thought I'd point out that on my wife's birthday, which was 10 days ago, the cake said "Happy Birtday".

I won't have a camcorder there, but will have a digital camera that can do 30 second snippets. If time permits I will try to get some of them up and online while we are there for folks to enjoy!

It happens that I'm a professional videographer and as such...I'm totally NOT bringing my camera along. First I don't want anything to happen to it since I derive my income from it. I also don't want to have to hassle with all the tapes and stuff that comes with it.

BUT, I have a small digital camera that takes photos as well as video. It can take up to about 15 minutes of video at a time before I fill up the video card. The only trick is that then I need to download the video to free up memory on the card. If somebody is bringing a decent laptop then maybe I could prevail upon them to let me download the video and then they could post a link here.

No problem. Just let me know when we get closer to Gen Con if you end up not having access to one to offload video on by the time the con gets here.
