I've got no specific plans but Heartquest d20 sounds pretty good Mark (I've got a character ready for a game of this next weekend using the Fudge system).

Sorry. That Heartquest thing is a game on the regula rGencon schedule that Sniktch is signed up to play. I really don't know anything about it. Maybe he'll post soon and fill us in.

Mark - count me in on this. I'm not particularly interested in modern, but I'd love to do some d&d pickup games w/ others here.

I think it might be easiest to just declare that any enworlder that is interested just show up in the pickup area at a given time every night.

I can run some games as well.

A rallying point will be a good idea but a schedule for some of us is also going to be necessary, I think.

Well, true, I suppose. I've given up trying to sign up for games at GenCon. Now, one year I filled my schedule with Planescape stuff. And I had a great time, mind you, but I find that I've had just as much fun just winging it. And I've always had positive experiences at the pick up rooms.

I vote for the rally point, that way we can just show up when we have some free time and hopefully find some other people hanging around... isn't that the idea about a pickup game anyway?

for my second GenCon, i'm going with 4 of my friends. talk about a nightmare! took us so long to figure out what games we wanted to play, that of course there was nothing left by then! lol so we plan to just take over as many pick-up games as we can! even better if the organisers are setting up a pick-up arena. add another 5 votes to the rallying point tally.
