That's right folks. I am trying to get enough players to run a marathon scratch game from Thursday night to friday night, ending at the same time the ENNies start and maybe pickign it up on Saturday night after the PCGen getogether!
What is the Against the Giants series? : 1st edition module written by our own EGG (Col Pladoh) and was designed for tournament play. Here is a blurb on it:
Giants have been raiding the lands of men in large bands, with giants of different sorts in these marauding groups. Death and destruction have been laid heavily upon every place these monsters have visited. A party of the bravest and most powerful adventurers has been assembled and given the charge to punish the miscreant giants.
What do you need to bring?: Yourself and your dice and a minature. I play with a battlemap so please bring something that fits in a hex. IF you don't have a minature, scrounge up something but show up anyway. Dice, lots of dice. No need to do PC's i will bring them.
When is it?: Thursday Night in one of the game rooms. I will have to find a place to play.
How to spot me?: Easy. I'll be in the bright Red shirt that says 'PCGEN" with 4" letters. That and you'll hear the southern accent 'Whatya mean I can't play here! This space is open y'all!"
Who will be there?: Guest appearance by Will Upchurch from FFG and several of people on here.
What's the rules?: PHB races and clases only. All PC sheets will be provided by me, randomly generated by PCGen for this purpose. There will be no down time to create items or build things. You run with what you brung!
I will have 5 different PC's from all the CORE classes, when they run out, there are no more reinforcements. Once a PC Sheet is taken and that player dies or leaves for another contest, that PC is gone from the game forever. Sure it may seem like there is an inexhaustable supply but be warned, you will die if the module is taken lightly.
So folks, do you have what it takes to invenstiage the secret behind the giants or are you willing to take the plunge? If so, find me at the con and let's geterdone!
