GenCon-less Commiseration

I live in Central Ohio so Origins has been my big convention every year. BUT... Gencon gets moved and I was thinking I could make out there for a day trip (Saturday only). Some family friends in the Indy area from our auto racing connections... but NOOOOO, our heat pump quit during Origins and getting it repaired killed my budget...

On the bright side our regular gaming group is moving back towards regular meetings again, YAY! With us getting together on the Saturday of GenCon. So I will be gaming at least. :)

I missed Origins this year, next year for certain. I was looking at Yahoo, for only a six hour trip I'm half tempted to shoot over thier for a day.

Unlikely, but tempted.

Okay, maybe not so bad. With any luck, on the 24th I'll be in a gaming session that will kick-start a campaign that's been on hiatus for a year. So, what'll you be doing if you aren't at the con?

Hey... What a coincidence! I, with any luck, will be in a gaming session on the 24th that will kick-start a campaign that's been on hiatus for a year...

:D

Don't think I'm gonna make it to Gencon either. And I LIVE in Indianapolis!! :( Just don't have the funds. Not to mention the fact that the wife is due to give birth any day now to our newest little one. I'm hopeful for next year though as long as Gencon stays here in Indy.

Alas, cannot make Gen Con as well but will most assuredly be there for next year. This is the third year in a row that something has come up that has prevented me from going. Oh well, guess me and the guys will bring frosty fermented beverages to the warehouse, play a few tunes most loudly then game some.
