My making it depends on one thing, crash space. Getting there is no problem. Getting in is no problem. Place to sleep, problem.

A pillow and blanket, a shower, and a nearby grocery and I'm good.

I do make it I'll be running a Ki Project and a Dragon Earth adventure, plus I'll be looking into getting some print copies of the Alan's Dragons PDF done for folks. (I have one e-publisher interested, but things still need to be worked out. If nothing else, I'll try to have booklets of each chapter done.)

BTW, the San Diego Comic-con is coming up in about 2 and a half months, and Steve Jackson of Steve Jackson Games is on the guest list (the show's first gaming guest, ever). A heads up for those of you thinking of coming.

I was vaguely thinking about it, since it's just up the road. Probably depends on whether I'm in condo hunting mode at the time.

Since my player group and I live in San Diego there is a good possibility we'll show up :)

[Edit: Argh, they've changed the venue! Last I heard it was going to be at the San Diego Convention Center, but now it's in Anaheim! Scratch that then, not going to spend a bunch of money on a hotel room :p ]

I'm pretty sure most of our gaming group (see "Welcome to the Halmae" on the story hour page) will be there. It's just too close for us not to go, especially since the SO and I are probably not making it to Indianapolis this year.

It's been a long time since I went to a Con that didn't involve a plane trip....

Had myself an idea. The San Diego ENWorld Krew gets together and goes to GenCon So Cal as a group. As Sean pointed out, it's a two hour drive. Go for a day of gaming, schmoozing, and 'shop till you drop', then a two hour drive back. Lather, rinse, repeat.

We will need a few things.

1. A rendezvous. A place to meet. Also serving as crash space for those of us (hi there) who don't drive.

2. Transportation. Depending on how many 'sign up' at least a sedan, but something like a minivan maybe necessary. (There are families out there, one of you has to have a minivan, or access to one).

3. An adventure you can play in two hour stretches in a minivan. (Not really necessary, but it would keep the youngins occupied.:))

Tell you what, how about a San Diego ENWorld Game Day, so folks can get together and work things out?
