Hmmm. No judge listed, and I don't find any mention in the archive of the game thread either- so no judge at all, I guess. Last useful in game post was in the 1st week of May. Ah, well- not that important, I guess.

I don't see why we can't keep this going to some extent. Are there any active DMs out there? Mog, you still around? We do need to shutter up the adventure I'm on, I think, as the other three players seem to have disapeared.

Hello Hello!

Well, I'm running a pretty successful adventure right now (at least I think it is :D ), and we've had 2 of 5 sorta drop out.

I might be persuaded to let some new people join, if there's an interest!

Additionally, I will probably have another adventure ready to go after my current one is done.

Eberron rules!

Spawn of Khyber/LEB Judge
State of LEB

I posted this in the Is LEW in Trouble?, but I thought it is apropos here:
For the record, LEB ain't dead. From my perspective, its limping along and its about as alive as LEW is now. We didn't have a M-A, but several of our DMs/judges also disappeared (partly due to overlap in LEW/LEB).

Xir is my only LEW character, and missed the big M-A drive. Lucky for me, 'cuz P8008's game been fun. But that was the risk w/ a big M-A game. Living games work great in the small and not in the large for this very reason.

I think 4E (not L4W) has part to do with the die out in momentum, but I think a large part of it is that big posters (who ran games, judged, etc.) left. That left a void that is difficult to fill when there isn't enough new blood coming in. This goes for LEB as well. Players show up; but DM/Judges are needed to complete the deal. While I have hopes for L4W, it will need to be careful that a similar judge/DM diaspora does not occur in a few years time.

Note, Living Supers is dead for similar reason... DM/Judges left, and there wasn't enough player interest to step up to the role.

All in all, I think LEW/LEB is in a bit of a downturn, but are not dead yet. Until more DMs/Judges can be found, they will be necessity be smaller/fewer games. As those succeed, players will come to DM and some of those might judge. Its a slow rebuilding process, but its the one we have. Forcing it won't do it, though some gentle recruiting/advertising wouldn't hurt for either group.
As for LEB, we have 3 active judges (myself, Mog, and Patlin). I'd like some more just for insurance purposed. Dirk, myself, and Mog are running active games; I think JRYoung, Wik's and the others are not running. We need more DMs (i'm just trying to get the one's I'm running done currently, too many) and more players would be nice, but them's the breaks.

If there are any outstanding characters needing approval, let me know. I'm pretty sure I've sent out notification to everyone.

let me know what game it is and I'll see what I can do. Won't do much though; I'm already covering 3 LEB games and EtCR (my baby).

Mog or Stonegod, could either of you take a look at Heart of Artifice and close it out with an XP reward and a "go back to the shard" order? Last DM post was in August.

Just looking back at my own offshoot of that game and I see RA stopped posting on it in April, just after the XP reward. Guess I could bring Aethelus back to the inn too.

I'm willing to help out if you guys need some more help. I have a very good grasp of the rules in the core rule books and the eberron campaign setting (the book's rules not the story really). I have little DM experience.
