There we have a basic skeleton for the world guide. I think I covered all basics. I'm honestly too tired to re-log as KO to sticky it, or to add any contents at the moment, so if the other judges could please add a few things?

NPCs, where appropriate, should go into the fitting section, such as the government of Monemvassia into Central Lands. Mercenary organizations such as the Hoar Sun go into political/military organizations.

Ayny topics that are missing?

Thanks, KO. You're making up for the rest of us lame-ass judges. I'll add a few things in there from my games.

Money is the root of all evil

I was wondering if I could get a little advice about money. I'm pretty much clueless about wealth levels. I just use what the DM says when playing, and it hasn't really come into play in my games. LEW however, is a shared setting, so I wanted to check.

For two weeks travelling and a bit o danger, how much would be acceptable for first level characters? How about second level? How about third level characters? I'm thinking more of the up front payment by the patron.

Thanks.

Doghead, if this was spurred on by Ironwolf's quasi-grip, I had him say that because on his previous adventure the promised reward was 1,000 gold. There was, however, no opportunity to loot anything in the adventure, and only a bit of gambling on the side for additional income. So his expectations may be a bit skewed, and it's strictly an in-character comment. As a player, I don't care much about the fee.

In terms of overall reward, I would refer you to two sources. First, the wealth by level guidelines can help with overall treasure distribution. Second, the online xp calculator in my sig "details" post gives a per encounter recomendation on GP reward.

Personally, I like to track the per encounter rewards. I don't give out the treasure evenly, so some monsters will have nothing and others will have a big score on hand.

I'm with Patlin on that.

I've added a short Overview of the world to the World Guide. Take a look, and tell me what can be improved. Judges, of course, can do the improving as well. ;)

Yeah, money is flexable, and since many people have been on different adventures, some have more than others, which is what happens. I have one character that took home well over 2,000 gold in one adventure he started at level one, while another has spent nearly every gold piece he had left and recieved nothing for it.

At 3rd level, Rinaldo had 2 magical on him worthing over 8000gp (immovable rod, hat of disguise). Since that time, his looting havn't been that great and have catch up on what a guy of his level should carry. I don't think he was ever unbalanced.

Suggestion for the ENWorld Guide and Rules and Mechanics sticky threads. You should put link to each post in teh first post, just like the character thread and the Pantheon thread. It would help to search informtion.
