General full of 4e threads

Is it just me, or shouldn't all these 4e threads that are flooding General be in... say, one of the 4e subforums?

For those of us who are disinterested, it's a bit silly to avoid the 4e forums and see General full of 4e discussion anyway.

Well, it is 4E game day.

I'm sure by next week everyone will go back to playing 3.5.

General is for all games. IT will die done some once people stop announcing they got the books by starting a new thread and stop creating a separate thread to tell their 4e experiences in. I think many of the threads just need to be combined. Many are of the same general topic.

General encompasses what the current discussion is about. A new game has just beeen released; unsurprisingly, most of us are talking about it.

If you want to talk about something different, and you think the commUnity is interested in it, feel free to start a thread about it in General. Think Darwin - the community makes itself; we don't try to create discussion, we just accomodate it.

On a day that isn't the launch of the biggest release in RPG history, I'm sure conversation will include other things.

But that's the current "big subject".
