Ghost Hacking

I've just finished cleaning out my "games I'm in" post and its now all looking a bit thin. Indeed, even some of the Active games are looking a bit terminal at the moment.

I've thought about joining a new game or two, but I don't really feel like creating new characters at the moment. So I thought I would ask around to see if anyone has any abandoned shells in their game that need a new ghost.

I have access to the Core materials through the SRD. I also seemed to have aquired the Eberron and Midnight source books somewhere along the way in my travels.

A quick look at my character thread will tell you that I generally play non-spellcasters and in the shallow end of the pool. But thats the beauty of Ghost Hacking. It gets you out of your routine.

I'm also quite happy to return Shells to their original Ghosts if the missing player should return at some point in the future.

Ghost Hacking? Do you mean you will take over someone else's abounded character? (sorry I've never heard of the term and now I'm curious.)

Mmm... yes, actually, if you fancied playing a schozophrenic anthropomorphic elephant barbarian.

I realise that includes rules outside of the PHB, but all the templates really do is add to stats and give some qualities like Improved Grab, Pounce, and Fast Healing. All those are on the sheet already for you. Also the player used an UA variant to change what the rage does; but again, the variant is on the sheet for you.

Character sheet here. The game is Planescape, but the character in question doesn't know anything much about the planes so it's quite alright if you don't either. The game thread can be found here. That character's player has been away because of computer problems, and as such the character's been in the background for a while. There's the possibility that AmorFati will fix his computer - or get a new one - and come back, so bear that in mind.

So there ya go - the job's open for you if you want it. I won't hold it against you if you decide this one's just a bit too weird for you though.

Had a look over the character and the IC thread. Weird is good. It looks really interesting actually. Not sure that I can do it justice, but I'm willing to have a try. Its fortunate that Minala is pretty clueless about the planes, because I certainly have never been there before.
