Vote for the one skill you most want it to have. I'll take the top few and divvy up ranks based on the vote differential.

Keep in mind that it gets a +8 racial bonus on Swim checks for having a swim speed, and a +4 bonus to Jump checks based on its land speed. We also agreed on a yet-to-be-determined racial bonus on Hide checks.

Intimidate seems like an appropriate one. Keep in mind there's a +4 per size category larger than the target...

I vote for Survival. This giant will be outside all the time; he'll know how to survive

I also agree with Conaill's assessment on Intimidate.

Survival makes sense of course but I'd also think search fits its nature

Since the giant gets 29 ranks, it'll break down as follows:

Move Silently 29 x 37.50% = 12 ranks
Survival 29 x 25.00% = 8 ranks
Intimidate 29 x 12.50% = 3 ranks
Spot 29 x 12.50% = 3 ranks
Tumble 29 x 12.50% = 3 ranks

I did some rounding, etc. to add up to 29.
