Gift Ideas?

Husbands, what are you getting your wives for Christmas this year? I need some ideas.

edit: Well, I didn't mean to exclude girlfriends. Hell, even mistresses for that matter. I'm just stumped as to what to get my wife, so I'm looking for ideas.

What can you tell us about your wife? I mean, I know the things *I* want... but I realize that I'm a bit of a strange girl and the things on my Christmas list reflect that. :heh:

sexy undies
*laughing* There is something inherently funny about the word "undies." However - I will say that it's a good idea so long as you get the right size. There is no good way to explain why her sexy panties are too big or too small. Either way, you think she's fat. :p

It looks like I'm going with a remote starter for her minivan. A must have in cold weather climates.

That's different. But then I'd have to install it. I already have enough projects going on.

That's a tough one.

She's a stay-at-home Mom, with our two daughters, 2 and a half, and a 6 week old. She's a social person, with few actual hobbies, well aside from golf which she hasn't played in years.

She likes clothes, but has a ton, and shoes, which she also has a ton of. She doesn't read, or listen to music really.

She's like blown glass, especially that which comes from Sweden, preferrably Kosta Boda. I got her a piece last year, which she really likes, but it seems very impersonal to me. But she has mentioned that again, I think as a standby, because she herself doesn't really know what she wants.

I'm leaning on accessories. I got her one small little watch that I'm going to give to her from our daughter, since she refused to put it down at the store. I was thinking of maybe getting her a nice scarf, or some gloves or something like that. I was going to rule out jewelry since she doesn't wear very much, and we don't really go anywhere fancy enough to warrant wearing it anyway.

I was going to say a nice pair or handcrafted earrings, but if she doesn't wear much jewelry, maybe that's out. My wife loves getting earrings, she has a ton but always likes more. I usually avoid mass produced stuff that you can find in most jewelry stores, and go for crafty type shops that sell individual, artisan jewelry.

There is a nice shop in the Short Pump Town Center called Appalachian Spring, I've found interesting, unique stuff for my wife there on several occasions (pottery, jewelry, and other handmade things). http://www.shortpumpmall.com/go/fb/guide/store.cfm?storeID=2137026705

Hey, if you want, I can drive to Richmond and meet you one night next week (Monday or Tuesday?) and we can go shopping together, if you'd like.

along w/monetary gifts i have no idea about, you can also give 'passes' or 'tickets' that she can 'cash in' to go golfing or something only she wants to do while you or a very trusted person watches the wee ones:)

How about a spa day? Include a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure and lunch. If you really want to spend, get it for two, so she can take her bestest friend (other then you, unless you like that kind of thing).
