This is it, one of the most hyped episodes of the series, directed by Joss Whedon. The focus is on Artie this time around, as he dreams about being able to walk and dance (and give Kevin McHale, who's supposed to be a terrific dancer, a chance to strut his stuff).
Also, it looks like Idina Menzel IS going to be Rachel's mother (although she could be lying to get Rachel away from New Directions).
It sounds like Tina will have more to do this episode and next.
Oh yeah, and some guy named Neil Patrick Harris is supposed to be in this episode.
The playlist:
Bryan Ryan (NPH's character) sings "Daydream Believer", originally performed by The Monkees
Mr. Shu and Bryan sing "Piano Man", originally performed by Billy Joel (previous reports said it would be "The River of Dreams", which probably would have made more sense, given the rest of the list)
Wendy Worthington sings "Big Spender", from Sweet Charity
Shu and Bryan sing "Dream On", originally performed by Aerosmith
Artie (and the glee club?) sing "The Safety Dance", originally performed by Men Without Hats
Rachel and her mother sing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables
Artie sings "Dream a Little Dream of Me", first performed by Ozzie Nelson
