Gloomwrought Looks Good!

Raven Crowking

First Post
I just finished reading the Critical Hits review of The Shadowfell: Gloomwrought and Beyond Boxed Set, and I admit that I am favourable impressed by what I am reading. This looks like something I will have to pick up/incorporate into my own campaign!

Kudos, Wizards!

What? Where's the doom & gloom? Are positive posts about any product fashionable these days? ;)

(Shrug)

Maybe you're confusing me with someone else.

I suggested that WotC make some real kick-ass products with 4e, open up with what the system can do, consider settings over railroads......And it seems as though they have risen to the challenge.

WotC, or D&D for that matter, can fail without materially affecting my gaming table adversely right now. BUT....WotC and D&D doing great would material affect my gaming table for the better. If you follow me? So naturally I am rooting for great products.

EDIT: Oh, and the "doom & gloom" are apparently on a set of cards that comes in the box.

I'm definately looking forward to Gloomwrought. Everything they've shown us that I've looked through has been looking good, especially the monsters.

I have to admit that I am more tempted to pick it up now than I was before. Sounds like it might just be a good read, nevermind the crunch.

I would hope the doom and gloom would actually be in the book since its based in the negative energy plane.

It looks really interesting, and I'd love to read the campaign info about the city and its surroundings, (after I first throw the cards in the trash). Sounds like there's a lot of fertile ground for adventuring there.

Hopefully some kick-ass adventures set there will follow!
