GM Tools at d20zines

I will probably be bundling the GM Tools articles together into a single pdf document down the road a bit. I want to give Connors a chance to write a few more. I expect that we'll do it once he turns in his 10th article. ;)

You'd have to talk to the webguy for the site on that. My bet is that generator's would be a pain to work within the Postnuke shell.

Hey, I tried your link, and I get a page that says "Problem in Database Connection" - you might have your friends at d20zines work on that.

Have you used these tools? Why/why not?
What would make them better?
Should I provide examples?
Do you have any ideas for resources to add to a tool already up?
Do you have any ideas for entries for tools already there?
Are there any similar tools you would like to see? I have others...have hinted at some in my comments, but I would like to know what GMs could really use...
Are these of use to your game?
etc

First off, I'm a fairly new GM, so keep that in mind.

I have not used those tools mainly because having just gotten back in to D&D/d20 after 15 years away, I'm still trying to find resources in the internet. I've never seen them or your magazine before. FWIW - the site has been bookmarked! :)

In general, they look cool but I'm already ok on the fluff side of things (town characteristics, planning encounter types, etc). What I would use are the combat actions tables and similar. I often find that in the heat of the moment I forget what a mobs options are. I was so worried about atmosphere and what not, I didn't even think to have the minotaur charge and grapple the party.

Overall, they look very cool and I'll be sure to check in on them again very soon.
