GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Previews/Discussion

Yes there is. Weirdly I was going to end Late Pledges this Thursday (since I had none the previous 2 weeks) and then I got 2 earlier this week. So I will leave Late Pledges open for now.
Just ordered the PDF!
I do like the fact that there is an option to buy the actual book later through DriveThruRPG

EDIT: And I'll echo @ArcanistDragonborn upthread, an unfinished/unpolished version in December 2025 is absolutely fine. With that many pages there is a lot to consume and determine how best to incorporate it into one's campaign.
You also get plenty of free proof-reading done. :)

Yes the DrivethruRPG Kickstarter setup is very good.

That's the plan. I'll try and make sure its a contiguous bunch of finished pages. Which probably means Chapters 1-6...and the Appendices.

It will interesting to finally get everyone's feedback.

You also get plenty of free proof-reading done. :)

That would be helpful. ;)

@Upper_Krust how far and wide are you going with the earthen deities?
I really love the Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Philippine, Chinese, Indian love in these boons.
It is one of the easiest ways to get people to learn, because if I'm going to use the Ynaguinid boon, I'm the kind of person that is going to do a little research on her. It is why I loved the Gazetteers - it inspired reading.
And they came out before the time of internet so it was all libraries and encyclopedias!

Out of interest where is Maliseya from?

I will try and fit as many interesting lore bits in as possible.

Well just to clarify, not every bit of lore is about a specific God (even if lots are), some are about new monsters, epic spells, epic organisations, spatial anomalies/hazards or artifacts.

Well, even when I reference a god, if I have the space (which is not that often) I will add my own spin on them.

And they came out before the time of internet so it was all libraries and encyclopedias!

It's easier now, I don't always have to wade through my stack of mythology books.

Out of interest where is Maliseya from?

She is a fabricated goddess, I could not find one that really fit that particular boon lore.
