Glad you liked it amigo! Still tweaking a few details but I think he is already 'Mighty'.

I'm really looking forward to this book, you saved the epic levels in 3.5 edition which weren't viable until your Ascension book and Immortal Handbook Bestiary... release many monsters, save the epicness of 5th edition... big, big monsters, very evil and memorable like Malakim Alabaster, etc... you can release 10 bestiary books, I'll buy them all, and do the conversion to 3.5 too, wow, I miss it so much!!!

big, big monsters, very evil and memorable like Malakim Alabaster, etc... you can release 10 bestiary books,

Lots and lots of monsters coming, starting with a few in the Player's book (Summoned in the Spell section), more in the Games Master's book (in the Adventure section), a good bit more in the Apocalypse Camel Adventure-Bestiary* and then over 100+ in the Epic Bestiary.

*Maybe up to 40 new monsters - which is almost as many as my 3.5e Epic Bestiary (which had 41).

I'll buy them all, and do the conversion to 3.5 too, wow, I miss it so much!!!

If someone does the stat-block conversions I'll release my 5e monster books for Pathfinder/3.5e.

Hey all,

the latest preview is a bit different, it just introduces the Lords of the Light - the collective name for those Higher Dimensional beings with Grand Purviews...oh and your eyes have not deceived you I am changing the book's name to God Rules: Epic Heroes; I just think its a bit cooler and will help consistency with all the rest of the books coming down the pipeline: Epic Artifacts, Epic Campaigns, Epic Bestiary etc.

Someone in the comments pointed out there already is a book called Epic Heroes for 5e. So I am considering God Rules: Epic Immortals instead.

Any thoughts on the change? Love it, hate it?

Out of curiosity what would you say the general CR/DR of a Lord of Light? As what they embody/symbolize would imply that they are some of the top tiers of a setting.

Well I have been looking into the Epic Heroes name. There are four rpg books using Epic Heroes somewhere in the title. Only one uses just Epic Heroes and its a 2 page pdf on DrivethruRPG. There is Epic Heroes Encyclopedia.

So I may still end up using God Rules: Epic Heroes. I'll look into it a bit more before making a final decision.

Well taking one of the Grand Purviews requires meeting an ability score Prerequisite. So technically its not a Divine Rank or Challenge Rating.

But God's of Time/Lords of Eternity will 'likely' be DR 7-10 = CR 40-52 = 4D Beings, with each next rung in the Octadic cycle +4 DR = +16 CR = +1 Dimension.

So Lords of Causality (for example) would be DR 23-26 = CR 104-120 = 8D beings

But as noted previously its an ability score prerequisite, not Divine Rank based.
