Godzilla vs. Garyx, Falzure and Tiamat

Gonna interrupt the age old question of Optimus vs. He-Man and jump back to the Big G debate for a moment.

The outstanding one from the latest mythology cycle was Giant Monsters All-Out Attack, which again was a direct sequel to the 1954 series (but had a Godzilla that was the incarnation of drowned sailors (huh?) and was "evil" while Mothra, Anguilus, and King Ghidorah are considered "good" Japanese gods - a big change of pace for The King - and the only time he has been one of the good guys.).

I'm a huge kaiju fan too, but probably less educated on the matter. However, I think that the Giant Monsters All-Out Attack Godzilla's rebirth story was changed in America. In the original story, and in the subtitled version I have on my DVD (I thought I had the mass-market version), Godzilla is the manifestation of angry spirits from WWII. The spirits are the Japanese soldiers who died in WWII and want to get revenge on Japan for not honoring them, the spirits of Amercian soldiers who just want to get revenge on Japan, and of course, Godzilla's angry spirit who also spites Japan.
Godzilla was esentially undead in that movie, and unlike most other movies, where he stomps stuff that just gets in his way or annoys him, he deliberately goes out of his way to kill the fleeing Japanese. I have not watched the movie in a while, but I think that this was shown in there.
Oh yeah, and Ghidorah was actually a good guy one other time - when he became King Mecha-Ghidorah.

Oh yeah, my votes are:
Godzilla vs. Dragon Gods = Godzilla, but some kind of tie is possible
Optimus vs. He-man = He-man (but I like Optimus better), until they join forces with G.I.Joe to defeat the combined might of Skeletor, the Decepticons, and Cobra.
Hulk vs. Sauron = Can Sauron be defeated without destrying the ring? If so - Hulk.
Donald vs. Mickey = Donald, if he has a knife.

The Godzilla vs. Gamera movie went down the tubes when Toho convinced Shususe Kaneko (the director of the good Gamera movies) to direct GMK, I believe. And there is another Gamera movie in production right now. But it's kid friendly, and Kaneko is no where to be seen...

Demiurge out.

Yeah, I have the original (with bad subtitles) too - haven't watched the Americanized version myself. I don't think I got the angry for not honoring them part - though it still doesn't explain the "recording" rocks part!

And yes, he did go out of his way to purposely trample people. Loved the cool all-white eyes too.

I'll have to argue against the King Mecha-Ghidorah being "good" from that series - I never really thought of the time travellers as necessarily "good" so I didn't view Ghidorah or his cyborg version as "good" either. But that's really a matter of opinion.

Godzilla would beat the Dragon Gods, but they'd just disappear and not be able to manifest on the Primaterial for 100 years... :)

I thought I read somewhere that there was a stage show for kids on the Toho lot where Godzilla and Gamera costumed actors were goofing around and fighting. Godzilla won.

Someone asked what it would take to team up the kaiju and the dragon gods? Present some kind of super-uber-monster-giga-super-king-monster that threatens the whole world. Thats what it usually takes for kaiju in the movies to team up, and they even reccomend that in the Dragon magazine that talks about kaiju (well, they said that kaiju team up whenever a fiendish kaiju rears its ugly head). A kaiju may not care about mortal races, but he still needs a place to walk and roar. Present something that would end that, and he'll react. Something like a negative-energy-powered kaiju made up of millions of undead, his breath weapon is negative energy and ghosts, and he is powered by the undead god. Call him Dark Kaiser Skelegas, or Black Zombiro, or Dark Zaiger, or something equally silly. Weeee!

I asked the kajiju and the dragon gods? And what do you mean by that?

Does anybody have any idea or suggestion making the a group of god-kaiju gods join forces with the D&D dragon gods?

I may have misunderstood your original question.

What did I mean? I was being very tongue-and-cheek about the kaiju subject and their names, which I enjoy so much (no sarcasm). In most kaiju movies, kaiju that do not work togeather normally will team up to defeat a greater evil. I originally thought that you were asking for ideas to get kaiju and the D&D dragon gods to team up. My answer was to introduce a very evil and super-powerful kaiju that would require the force of both to defeat. This force would have to threaten both groups. For instance, the evil kaiju might destroy the hunting grounds of other kaiju, and mass murder the worshipers of the dragon gods. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."
