[sblock]Mass CLW. Uri the dragon will cast the following if he hasn't already - shield, shield of faith, cat's grace, spell immunity (chaos hammer, unholy blight), resistance & guidance in that order.[/sblock]
Hmm... is there a range increment for Spellcraft identifications? I guess if we really wanted to get complicated, we should make people make Spot & Listen checks to see if they can hear the voice or see the motions and then make Spellcraft... but that hardly seems worth it...
Ringo thinks it is a mass cure light wounds (check of 27)
Armstrong heals 17 hps to 48 hp.
Good's turn for 136 since Evil continues to delay (from a position of power, one might say)
Ringo takes his AoO in the form of a disarm, which I assume will mean that he will end up with the weapon if successful (and alive from the counter-AoO).
136: Armstrong blazes down to 115n70e and lashes out at Ringo. Ringo attempts to Disarm Armstrong, which causes Armstrong to lash out at his outstretched claws in a quick slice.
Armstrong's counter AoO hits (33) for 27 pts of damage. Ringo has 2 hp left! Ringo's disarm is disrupted by the blow that nearly severs his forearm. Armstrong charging attack threatens and confirms (38) a critical for (21+25 = 46 points of damage). Ringo is in turn disarmed, but the arm disappears along with the rest of the body as Ringo returns home.
(Odd rules question - should the counter AoO gain the charge bonus? It didn't matter in this case, but I'd guess so - the benefits and penalties of charging having started as soon as the movement started and continuing until the beginning of Armstrong's next turn.)
OOC: Actually, on second thought, I don't think Armstrong gets a counter AoO because he doesn't have reach. Isn't that they way we've ruled it in the past and the way the FAQ advocates?
