Good and bad things that a Good/Evil character would do

I think what Quasqueton wanted is not a discussion of ends and means, but a listing of what means are good and which are evil, regardless of the ends. So, let's not have any discussion about whether killing one innocent man to save millions is good or evil. Rather, tell us whether you think killing one innocent man is good or evil (evil, by my book).

So, to continue in the vein of WayneLigon,

Evil
- Causing suffering to another
- Limiting another's potential or taking away opportunities
- Taking away another's liberty or free will
- Causing another to act in an evil manner

[Just IMO, the greatest evil is that which causes others to be evil.]

Good
- Bringing joy and hope to another
- Increasing another's abilities or giving opportunities
- Giving freedom to another
- Inspiring another to act in a good manner

[Again, just IMO, the greatest good is redeeming evil, or simply inspiring others to be good.]
