I want to be sure the gifts are pleasing for the adults, as well as the children...

I have found that I can purchase a Family membership to the San Francisco zoo for $70... I don't know how high quality the SF zoo is, but I do know that, no matter how old I get, I will *never* stop loving the zoo.

Well if you are looking for a game...

Monopoly and Life are fun, but if you have kids in the family then you might want to get Chutes and Ladders and/or Candyland. I used to love playing the latter two with my sister in my youth.

I have purchased my new step-siblings the D&D Basic Game... I don't know if they'll like it... but, I can hope that, even across thousands of miles, I can introduce some youngsters to the hobby I love so dear.
