Good thread gone

Sadly Jack, we've been all over this territory. There was a three-page thread with lots and lots of links to programs (most by yours truly) but I cannot find it now. I don't know if it's gone or if you have to be a member to find it. It was about PDA's at the game table and was started by eternal knight I believe

After reading that thread, I found and downloaded Plucker and then compiled a hyperindexed SRD file for my palm directly from an online SRD HTML (can't recall which I used at the moment). Best 3.5 palm application I have; the entire SRD in my hand with me wherever I go. W00T!

Where is the old thread?

Does anyone have the link to the old thread? I hate to think all that work I did linking is gone.

My best PDA apps are:

iSilo for hyperlinked SRD (similar to plucker)

Documents to Go for excel spreadsheet character sheets. Gives me the layout, autocalculation when stuff changes etc.

Cheers

top tip (works with iSilo, I imagine it works with plucker too).

Take advantage of the vbulletin software archive feature to easily grab 50 threads at once from ENworld or Wizards.com.

if you point your browser at www.enworld.org/archive (for instance) you will see a simple listing of forums; click on a forum and you see a series of pages of threads. I select one of those pages, set the link depth to '1' and set it going. With iSilo it typically produces a 1-2Mb file with a couple of weeks reading matter of all the threads on that page. I often use it to keep up to date with the WotC Eberron boards.

Cheers
