Good places to buy online?

I'm trying to find a good online store (US based for cheaper shipping) to buy minis from. Specifically, I'm looking for a male elf or half-elf swashbuckler-type wielding only a rapier. I can find lots of good female fencers, but male figures tend to have armor, big weapons, or beards.

Take a look at www.reapermini.com. I've ordered directly from them, and you can also find almost all their minis at www.frpgames.com as well.

But whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER from New Wave Games. Nice site, nice pictures, but they may have the worst customer service and be the most unreliable miniatures retailer online. I've got a friend who ordered from them over a year ago, and still gets a miniature every few months from his order. And they refuse to cancel the order.

For an online store I recommend Dragglestown.

As for the miniature Fenryll's Mercenary Elves II looks to have a mostly unarmored elf wielding a rapier.

After a second look the elf in the pack I linked to has a curved sword rather than a rapier, without seeing the back I can't tell if the blade could be straightened into a rapier or replaced for one.

I did find another Fenryll elf pack that has rapiers, but the elves are wearing light armor. Fenryll's Assassin Elves.

One of them is unarmored...the female. And she's even in the middle of a perfect fleche.

Does this guy look like he has a mustache to you? If not I can thin the sword and make the dagger into a stilletto and he'd be perfect.

Just kidding I do Like how After I ordered it they Told me it was out of stock and I could not cancel my order. I just had to wait the 6 weeks to get it... I could have just drove down there and picked it up they're only 3-4 hours from me.

I have to second Reapermini.com. They not only have some of the best minis on the market for characters, but they have excellent customer service as well.

I will also have to second NEVER ordering from New Wave. It's amazing that they are still in business with all the people they have screwed over. I ordered the two pack of Reaper gnolls from them, and it took so long for them to send me the items that when they finally did (nearly 8 months late), I had forgot about ordering them and thought they sent me figs that I didn't order. Once I realized that I had ordered the figs, but only just received them nearly a year after I placed the order, I decided to only window shop there and go through Reaper directly or order from Dragglestown or FRPGames.

www.doordice.com is a great company for online minis. I've always been happy with my orders from them.
