good PRC's for Paladins?

What are some good prc's for paladins, which don't inhibit their martial ability?

Is there a prc which might let the paladin to summon fire on his weapon at will or something?

Thanks!

I believe the Exorcist of the Silver Flame (Eberron specific) has an ability to add silvery fire to their smites. It has some other nice stuff, I think but haven't read it in quite awhile.

Knight of the Pearl (Stormwrack) is a very nice 5 level PrC that has some cool abilities geared towards a water specific campaign (Use slashing weapons at no penelty underwater, no ACP for swimming in any armor). I know that's pretty niche specific but I happen to be playing one currently and it is very nice. The capstone ability burns a Turn attempt to do 4d6 damage to evil creatures in a 30' radius while at the same time heals allies 4d6 in the same area. The catch is it only works in water. :(

Well, there's the Grey Guard from Complete Scoundrel, which is great if you're wanting to walk the line between good and evil.

Or you could do the Annointed Knight from Book of Exalted Deeds, for focusing more on melee combat and personal permanent buffs, though it doesn't say that Paladins can multiclass with it and still be able to advance as Pallys.

Then there's the Divine Crusader from the Complete Divine, with the same issue as the Annointed Knight.

There's also the Hospitaler, which really pumps up the Palladin's healing abilities, and does say that Paladins can advance as both Paladins and Hospitalers. Also from CD

Isn't the Kensai from Complete Warrior able to return to paladinhood? If so, it is a nice class if you are a martial paladin who doesn't use their spells too much. I've known a few players who take the money they save on the signature weapon and buy items that give them magical special abilities they want other than the ones given by the paladin class. So, it is a fair trade off in flexibility of abilities.

Yup.
One of my favorites is the Shadowbane Inquisitor from Complete Adventurer:
It allows you to freely multiclass with Rogue and advances both your sneak attack damage and smite ability among other things.

In my opinion, the best Paladin prestige class is Fist of Raziel from Book of Exalted Deeds. Bigger, better smites!

Especially once you realize that, hey, that can advance cleric casting instead of paladin casting.

Previous Eberron game, one guy had a paladin/cleric of Silver Flame/FoR, he was absolutely brutal. I switched my dwarven fighter to a human psion-nomad just to move him and the TWF ranger around the battlefield more effectively.

I found Pious Templar from CD an oddly good addition - while in many ways it is a "prestige paladin" in that it essentially gives paladin-like powers to another class it does offer the awesome Mettle ability at 1st level. This plus a Ring of Evasion and the paladin's beefy saves gave me almost complete immunity to any spell that offered a save. The other abilities help buff you in combat a little and give you more spells/smites per day. You can't continue to advance in Paladin afterwards though, so it might be one to pick up when you have picked up all the paladin abilities you are interested in.

Divine Crusader is pretty good if you can persuade the GM to give you the Glory domain in addition to your chosen domain (perhaps not at 1st level).

Seconded. Though the shadowbane cleric class rocks even more.
