good PRC's for Paladins?

You can take something else for the last few levels...and frankly I don't consider epic relevant to these kinds of threads. Is it even a 3.5 supported concept?
Soooo, ignore the epic comment. It was more of an aside anyway.

A level 6 paladin is pretty pointless. IMO.
You'd be better off going 10 cleric/10 FoR.

Purple Dragon Knight from CW isn't bad for a Paladin...especially if you want a "leader of men" archetype...

Anointed Knight from BoED (which, contrary to popular belief, IS 3.5) is good for advancing the powers of yourself and your chosen weapon...

The Exorcist of Silver flame seems to vastly outclass the fist of raziel from what I've seen, and its also lower level.

And the paladin spell holy weapon is one of the few redeeming things about high level pally's. That is one kick ass spell.

Oh and thanks for the feat Aeloleus. :)

Np. Only issue is that there are three feats in that book that all do basically the same thing (+1 luck bonus on anything once per day), but once you take one of them, you can never take either of the others. Those are Favored of the Companions, Knight of the Stars, and Servant of the Heavens.

You'd be better off going 10 cleric/10 FoR.

Given that FoR is all about smiting, you really want some levels of paladin in there. At least two, for Divine Grace.

And Good gods with Destruction as a domain are few and far between. (Cuthbert has it, but he ain't Good!)

Thing is, after Complete Champion and his oh-so-great Battle Blessing, everyone will want to KEEP the paladin's spellcasting progression, so I would personally only consider PrCs continuing this progression. My favorite pally would be Pal 9/Pious Templar1/FoR 10 (Pious Templar has easy entries; it does not continue spellcasting but Mettle is just too good to be true). You cast as a level 18 pally, smite as a level 19 pally with full FoR goodies, have 19 BAB, amazing saves and HP.

I don't like Divine Crusader for pally, simply because you only get 9 spells and lose your other spell progression and BAB...

The Mithril Knight from S&SS's (that's a lot of s's!) Player's Guide to Monks and Paladins is exactly what you want, even if you might have to wiggle the campaign specific stuff a little bit. They get a personalized sword that increases in power with them, and one of the first benefits is Flaming. Levels in this class stack with paladin levels for lay on hands, spellcasting, and mount progression, as well as cure disease, turn undead and smites per day. The class is sort of an "elite paladin" class, and as such it requires Leadership and one of the class benefits are bonuses to the character's leadership score.

Also in that book are "Miracle" feats and "Divine" feats, including Divine Focus (+1 to hit with your deity's favored weapon, and it stacks with Weapon Focus) and feats that let you burn turn undead attempts to give your weapon flaming and later holy bonus damage.

Rogue 2 / Paladin 4 / Chameleon 10, with Practiced Spellcaster. Finish with 4 levels of Swordsage. :)

Cheers, -- N

True about the smiting. I'm not familiar with Cuthbert, we play in homebrew worlds for the most part. What is his alignment? If he is Neutral he can have Good clerics.
