Good Ranger Feats?

There's a feat in Drow of the Underdark that allows you to use poison and apply it to a weapon as a swift action. Don't know if it's drow only, though.

Doesn't that just let me use all kinds of bows with no penalty? How useful is that?

ps. i could be wrong about above, i haven't looked at PHB2 in a while.

haha, no, it's much much much better than that.

+2 to hit and damage with all ranged weapons. Requires like 9 BAB and weapon focus in a ranged weapon. Stacks with everything.

Yeah, it's that good.

If I were you I'd try to diversify rather than specialize. You're already kickass with a bow, why not spread your abilities some... rangers make great generalists. Get some abilities for melee, for tracking/stealth etc.

Take practiced spellcaster... +4 caster level is pretty sweet.

Actually, as it turns out, RWM does need WS. I kinda hate that Fighters only get WS and above. Is there anything that can allow WS for non-fighters?
As far as I know, only through a couple of Prestige Classes, such as Pious Templar and Divine Crusader(?) (both from Complete Divine).

Since you've got Endurance by virtue of being a ranger, grab Iron Will and Indomitable Soul. Pentrating Shot could come in handy if you can get your enemies into a line.

That's because those feats are for fighters to give them something not everyone else can do as well. ;)

Improved Unarmed Strike + Superior Unarmed Strike (ToB). For those times when you don't have or can't use your bow.

I found iron will of great use to my ranger in Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. Of course, the DM was using sanity rules from Heroes of Horror.
