Good Superhero-Game?

Can anybody recommend me a good Superhero game? I've been looking about, but I havent found a good one yet - and Jürgen, I'm not looking for a GURPS option .

So, what would you recommend?

Mutants & Masterminds. Excellent system.

M&M is fast becoming the gold standard. But there are other ones that are really good depending on what you want from your game.

Yep, Mutants & Masterminds 2nd Ed is awesome. Good superhero RPGs are hard to come by.

M&M is based on d20, but is enough different to be..well, different.

But there is also Hero, Capes, Truth and Justice, d6 system and other games of this genre. THat's why I ask what do you want out of your supers game. It does matter.

If it couldn't, I doubt so many people would be crowing about how good the game is.

It needs to be flexible. It needs to be able to handle all kinds of powers, power levels. Anything I see in a comic, I want to be able to do here as well.

EDIT: Oh, and it needs to be - relativly - simple and elegant.

Mutants and Masterminds 2nd edition is absolutely the best thing since sliced bread. I play it every week with my group of d20 haters, who all LOVE it. Take that for what its worth.

Well, few games handle all power levels well. For instant having the Punisher in the same group as someone like Green Lantern is going to cause problems. Hero and M&M I feel have the best ways to handle a wide variety of power levels. Of the two M&M is the one I will call more simple.
