The BoVD did precious little to add to evil's arsenal. Lots of fairly useless spells, unimpressive feats, weak PrC's. Mostly flavor, very little crunch.

The BoED, OTOH, locked and loaded the forces of good. Anything evil got out of BoVD, the BoED gave the good guys. They even got "good" poisons and diseases to throw at the bad guys. And holy crap, some of those PrC's are insanely OTT. The Sword of Razael [sic] made the Frenzied Berserker look balanced.

Which Enterprise? People are generally of the opinion that Kirk would beat up Picard - as a discussion long ago ensued - it was pointed out that Picard was probably smarter and a better tactician overall but then this was countered with "yeah, but Kirk is lucky."

But I digress. How can you know where Mordenkainen comes in? Gary won't ever release his true statistics or even his level. It is his second ever PC, one he still plays. I say he should have in his will the release of his PCs' stats!
