So one more to 'announce' (Backerkit already mentions it by name, but no writeup)

"Three famous Goodman Games adventures now finally available for the 5E rules set! Idylls of the Rat King, The Lost Vault of Tsathzar Rho, and Sailors on the Starless Sea are each offered in a 5E edition!"
Ooh, Tsathzar Rho is a good one, especially for people who like Lovecraftian squamous stuff in their D&D.

Fingers crossed they do their two $1 3E adventures in future, both of which are excellent.

Does anyone know why they chose to develop this project for 5e vs. their DCC ruleset?
It seems like an OAR book. So maybe in a way it's to take the place of what could have been? Those are 5e books. They do very well for them.

I too wish it was a DCC Book but I'm sure it'll be great anyway.

And if their version of 5e cuts closer to DCC..... maybe I'll take a closer look. That's really why I'm interested.

Because it's them riffing on the TSR G series, which requires an established hierarchy of giants which DCC doesn't have.

Also, because 5E stuff is like pouring a bucket of money all over the company's heads, allowing them to do niche stuff they love like DCC: Empire of the East.

BTW, today was the first day to pledge on Bakerkit. Comes with their playtest packet for Advanced Advantage 5e. Just backed it.
