Goodman Games to publish a 4e print magazine under the GSL

So, the description says "subscribe for $4.00 per issue including delivery." I put the sub in my cart and went to check out, and the system wanted to charge me $4 for delivery. So, what's up? I'd like to subscribe and see what the first 4e print mag gives us, just want to make sure the price is accurate.

How exactly do I convince the LGS here to carry this thing?

Tell them to put it in your pull file.

If they have dealt with comics they should know what you mean, and know that it's a guaranteed sale.

Note that I've never had a pull file, until now.

I posed this question in the other thread about Dragon and Dungeon print mags but I'll ask again.

I seem to remember Goodman or some publisher interested in snatching up David Noonan after WotC let him go. Is he involved in Level Up?

That would certainly be a selling point for me if he was. :)

I wasn't quite sure what that meant either, I assumed since it's quarterly it was $1 an issue to mail. I went ahead and completed my subscription.

I'm thankful that they didn't go the draconian route that Privateer Press does with their no subscription policy for No Quarter. I'm actually considering dropping the collection because of it.

I remember the thread where Goodman was looking for Noonan, but I didn't ever hear that they had in fact hired him. I'm guessing there would have been an announcement, so my impression is that it didn't work out. (Of course I have no actual info).

We can help. Drop me a PM with the store's info and I'll get on it.
I opted for the personal subscription. (My LGS lacks the F for a reason. It's mainly a "Come play video games by the hour here" shop with some comics and gaming books on the side, and about a 45 minute drive. Not worth the trip for once a month.)

I do, however, really appreciate you offering to do that personally. That shows your desire to help the brick and mortar, and I am glad that I support your company. :)
