got Wilderlands?

I don't know that anyone would be able to accuratly answer that question. How many copies of the map are you talking about? A print run of 1000 copies is going to be a lot more per map than a print run of 10,000.
The person I quoted and addressed the question to, Patrick Lawinger, would be able to answer that, as he was directly involved in putting out this product. The print run for this was 2000, iirc.

Amazon came through for me and I got my copy today. It was delayed because of Columbus Day in the United States on Monday (no mail on Monday), curse you Columbus!!!

It sure is hefty.....and real purdy....can't wait to dig in and plan my monster campaign.

As I said earlier,I was thinking of running a monster tribe of orcs/goblins as PCs in the Wilderlands.

Any ideas of where a large number of humanoid tribes could be located in the Wilderlands world? I am completely new to it and would be interested in opinions.

Any guidance would be great for those who have been able to read a portion of this.

The Dearthwood (on the CSIO map) would be a good place.

It's Mine!!!!

The clouds parted and a ray of light was shining on my doorstep. There it was, in all it's glory. Now to partake of its immensity.

Thank you all you Necromancer and JG people.

First, what few print cost numbers I am privy to, I am not in a position to release. Such numbers are generally considered private. Only Bill Webb or Clark Peterson can release such information and I am pretty sure they won't.

Second, print costs for a combined set would be difficult to break down into a per-map cost anyway. The Boxed Set included 2 books, the box, the cost of packing and covering the box, as well as the maps. I am sure there are broken down costs, but I haven't seen them and would not be allowed to release them if I did. Trying to get just the maps printed would probably cost more per map than contracting for the entire set.

Finally, not only would print costs be much higher to do these maps in color, actually having the cartographer create them in color would add even higher costs to the equation.

If you really want to know what sort of costs we are talking about, your best option is to contact several printers and ask. You'll have to remember that the maps needed to be folded as well. It won't be entirely accurate until you have something to actually contract for printing, but it should give you an idea.

Sorry,
Patrick

Dangnabbit, Amazon just cancelled my order for the Black Company and I have a feeling they're about to do the same to my Wilderlands order.

Ah, well, at least my GM has a copy I could borrow off him if need be...

There are several spots, here is a overview of map 8 that shows several humaniods areas you can use.

Yes I did! I felt like spending a bit on myself last month and picked it up off of amazon. I ordered it with the new Robert Jordan book so it got here a few days ago. I haven't even opened it yet, but then again I haven't had the time to really devote to looking through it.

That sucker is heavy! Are the maps made of gold? I can't believe how heavy it is!

I got Wilderlands from them this past week so you might be o.k. Took them a bit but I was waiting on the Jordan release. Sorry to hear about the Black Company.

Good Luck
