Bunch of concepts I've worked on that are all over the place. Designed primarily for Guild use, so free Expertise applies - a lot of them have tricks that kick in at 6. Most here will be posted with an L6 and a L16 version (where they start, and where I bothered to build them). Will update sporadically.

1. Half-Orc Straladin|Rogue/Champion of Order - extremely nasty mark punishment where you get to apply Sneak Attack and -4 to hit
1.5. Chaladin|Rogue/Champion of Order - same trick as above; does a bit better until mid-Paragon
2. Dwarf Warden|Ardent/Arkhosian Blademaster - "how far can we take Second Wind optimization?"
3. Gnome Rogue|Swordmage/Phantasmal Guard - mark a shitload of people and become hidden from them; exceptionally silly
4. Human Paladin|Bard/Adroit Explorer - basically a straight Defender that fucks with people
5. Goliath Straladin/Hospitaler - Resistance Master Extraordinaire
6. Half-Elf Avenger/Battle Engineer - Battle Angel; a Striker that doubles as a Leader
7. Human Warlock|Artificer/Flame of Hope - Ruining The Game For Your DM
8. Elf Barbarian|Swordmage/Sword of Assault - Or How To Beat The Daylights Out Of Everybody In A 10 Foot Radius

1. Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, Half-Orc Straladin|Rogue/Champion of Order

Level 6 Rundown: you get to mostly do a lot of damage compared to most other Straladins, and you actually have some semblance of defense (slapping Dazed is a pretty good way of going about it. Doesn't do anything too special, but being able to at-will give someone -2 to hit on an attack that does 1d8+2d6+7 damage makes you a pretty nasty threat.

L16 Rundown: A lot of tiny things happened to bring this all together. You go first, you can hit like a truck, your Opportunity Attacks (which include your Mark Punishment!) are rattling and deal Sneak Attack, so they slap a whopping -4 to hit on top of the mark and deal a ton of damage; you have plenty of multimarks, your mark hurts like a truck, and you can basically outduel the enemy. You've decent enough movement to be constantly darting around the battlefield. Knightly Intercession+Certain Justice is one of those that's also up there. It's pretty fun to dart around the battlefield and bully opponents.

You're a better straight defender here, but you're still a ways off from perfect. Perfect is the enemy of good, though, and you hit like a major truck (seriously, you deal something like 1d8+1d6+DEX+CHA+mods+slow+-4 to hit on your OAs, they're very devastating). Loads of marks, good parry, good defense.

Name: named after Nakazawa Koto, a swordsman from the Meiji period who said she'd only marry a man who defeated her in a duel - and died alone; was said to be so pretty that when she dressed as a man, women fell in love with her and when she dressed as a woman, men fell in love with her; pretty fitting.

2. Runners High, Dwarf Warden|Ardent/Arkhosian Blademaster

Exploting Second Wind for fun and profit. By Level 6, we've a guy whose minor action Second Wind also allows another ally to use their Second Wind and a third ally gets to make a save and spend a healing surge, and we can throw some Temps and/or an extra save around. AC isn't terrible, surprisingly.

This is an intensely fun one - free attacks galore, combined with some decent stickiness; your second wind now is a mass healing and save-grant power that also regains an encounter power for you, that you can also use proactively to regain THP (I suggest your entire party grab a Cincture of Vivacity). Timeless Locket+Captain's Weapon is a top tier enabling combo.
