Graft a familiar

This is killing me. Im trying to make a really tough familiar and just generally having a good time with it. Im using a fleshwarper and currently have a large flying undead worg with scales. Now I am curious, can you apply grafts to a familiar? I am assuming you can, but assuming has gotten me in trouble before. Anyone know of other ways to boost a familiar (no homemade feats, our DM is not a fan).

Any official wizards material for 3.5 is available.

Its a gestalt build with DreadNecro(7)/FleshWarper(9)/Something(4)//Warlock(5)/Tainted Scholar(10)/Warlock(5)

I know its not the strongest combination, but as I am playing an undead human (nercopolitan) im just enjoying the flavor.

But Ive never been a fan of familiars, so im trying to see what I can do with this one, besides not have it.

The feat says that "you can create grafts of your chosen type and apply them to other creatures or to yourself". So I'd say you could apply them to a familiar. Although some of them require that they are applied to a living, corporeal creature, so they'd rot off of your undead familiar.
