This is an easy question that I cannot pin down the answer for (no pun intended.........okay, pun intended).
If a monster successfully grapples an opponent and does damage, the PC is allowed to try and break the grapple on his next turn. If he fails, does the monster (on his next turn) need to roll against said PC to maintain the grapple, or does he just deal constrict damage automatically.
Essentially, is a grapple check required to maintain or is it just used to break the grapple?
