Great Hero Showdown Round 5 (Voting Closed)

These are not easy!

1. Indiana Jones
Robin Hood may have been more altruistic, but Indy just rocks.

2. Luke Skywalker
Callow youth to noble warrior/priest gets my vote any day. :)

3. Han Solo
Maybe I'm just a Harrison Ford fanboy, but to paraphrase Kevin Smith: "She tells him 'I love you' and he just looks at her and says, 'I know.' Like a pimp."

4. Captain Kirk
Hands down. Spidey's cool and all, but nobody does over-the-top like Kirk.

1. Indiana Jones versus Robin Hood

I'll take Robin Hood, though it is close. Both are non-powered, striving to do The Right Thing, but Robin has just slightly more panache.

2. Batman versus Luke Skywalker

Bruce has cooler toys, a cooler costume, and never snivvels

3. Gandalf versus Han Solo

I see Han not so much as a hero as a back-up; fine in his own way, but not the star of the show. The same might be said of Gandalf, but he is more active and far, FAR less self-serving, which makes him more heroic.

4. Captain Kirk versus Spider Man

Kirk. No powers, does more. Spidey is nice, but he has the extra oomph of the powers. I always prefer to go for my non-powered heroes

(...sez the Wombat who is still sad that King Arthur and Atticus Finch are gone...)

1) Indiana Jones

2) Batman

3) Han Solo

4) Hm...Spider-man. Barely. I've found Spider-man less and less appealing, thanks namely due to the popularity of his movies, which I find decent but not great. But then, I'll take the underdog over the womanizer any day, even when a bit of spite wells up in me.

1) Indy. He did find the Holy Grail, after all.

2) Batman. He's more active than Luke.

3) Gandalf. The battle of the supporting characters! The more heroic one wins!

4) Spider-Man.

1. Indiana Jones. I depends on weather Robin was Kostner or Elwys if it was Kostner he could take out Robin and half of the merry men without his hat even falling off, and look awesome doing it.

2. Batman. is this even a fight? The Dark Knight any day. Luke would have to consentrate all his force mastery on not wetting himself.

3. Gandalf. Several thousand years practice will help almost anyone in a fight. Gandalf has an awesome sword, plenty of tricks up his sleeve, and lets face it the ol' fart can move.

4. Spidey. Unless he succumbs to the famous Kirk peace talks: We come in peace! shoot to kill! The only major problem that Parker would have is keeping that horny sucker off of MJ.
