Has anyone run a dungeon bases on the Gauntlet 1-2 games from the 80s?
I'm drawing one up now, and I think it will be a hoot.
Of course, there are quite a few people now days who have no idea what I am talking about.

Never run a Gauntlet based game, but there was a tie-in to Diablo years ago and I didn't think it was half bad.

I recommend rewarding the players with "tokens" for making the cheesy dungeon master announcements. It should help them keep their eyes on the game and save the GM some breath. You'll also want to have calculators ready, since the game is about collecting lots of loot and watching health go consistently up and down.
