Are you guys using the process of elimination with the major d20 publishers? :)

No, it isn't us.

So it's not Mongoose, Necromancer, or Green Ronin.

I can't imagine it would be AEG... but they're pretty big...

Hmmm. literary license from a series of books dating back to 1984?
Please tell me you guys worked out a deal with Abrams and Feist and Midkemia will come back into the gaming world.

Please!

Well, I suppose it could be anything, but I wouldn't be surprized if it was Midkemia. In fact, I would be more surprized if it wasn't.
When I first read Death in Freeport I noticed 1) Cthulhuesque and 2) Midkemia-esque (uhm... well, you know what I mean). A town called 'Freeport', founded by pirates was familiar from 'Rise of a Merchant Prince'. And there were some other things, like the use of serpent people.
Could be purely coincidental of course, but it could also be that mr. Pramas has been reading Feist since 1984. :D
I surely hope so. :)

Love Green Ronin, its amazing how many of my Christmas presents were from GR. Any chance on a little more of blurb about Blue Rose or "romantic fantasy"? Swashbuckling? Gothic Adventure?

Hmm. I wonder if the debacle at Fast Forward Games gives Green Ronin the opportunity to act as a publishinghouse and distributor for FanPro and their Classic BattleTech and Shadowrun line.

I've got friends who would start playing D&D again if Feist books came to that system. We used to use Rolemaster back in the early 90's to handle the action and it was pretty damn fun but I think D&D, especially now that they have sorcerers, could handle it pretty well.

On the other hand, the card game really hit the spot. Every week after we play, we wind down with Torches & Pitchforks. It's 2-5 player mode hits the spot. We started to look at another game like Warcraft, but it's 2-4, and there are usually 5 of us there. Of course when there's more, there's nothing like Apples to Apples.

Cool that you mention that. My boss, Adam Conus, is one of the two designers of Torches and Pitchforks. The other, of course, is Luke Matthews. I'll pass along that you enjoyed it. What you really need to do is start asking Mr. Pramas about the possibilities of an expansion set. :D
