Is Paizo slow on shipping? I ordered a bunch of Green Ronin books last week (Wednesday, I think), and still haven't been notified that my card's been charged, or anything sent out.

I have no problem with waiting, if they're just busy. It would just be nice to know if there was a problem, or if they didn't receive my order, so I can redo it, before the sale expires.

I'm not a huge Mongoose fan, but getting a copy of Slaine might have been cool. Or a few extra Conan books, if there were any that were worth it.

Yes.
Two of my books were on backorder until yesterday. Now they're pending, and two different books that were pending are now on backorder. FYI, I ordered on the 15th.

It's going to be a while.

If it helps you set a time frame, I placed my order on the 15th, got notification of the charge on the 21st, and received the shipment today.

The order I placed this weekend said that shipment was expected in 8-17 business days. Kind of slow, and it makes me wonder if their warehouse is understaffed.

Slaine is being rereleased by Mongoose under the Runequest rules.

I don't think that they are understaffed normally but the GR sale would have probably flooded their warehouse with a lot more orders than normal so it will take them a little while to get them all out.

And that's fine.....I'd just hate to find out that I missed the sale, because something went wrong, and I've been waiting for nothing. I do have the confirmation that my order was received, however.

I might be wrong, but it seemed to me that if an item wasn't available, it displayed that information in the shop's GR sale section, and so wasn't even an option for putting in the cart. For instance, one GR book (can't remember which one) showed up as unavailable after only a day or two, IIRC.

So, basically, it looks like everything ordered should turn up sometime. I think.

Well, I ordered on the 15th and am waiting, too.

How big was your order? I'm guessing for larger orders (I had 17 books), they are delaying because they might not have some of the books on hand, and filling smaller orders. And then possibly running out of some of the books they used to have.


In retrospect, maybe they should have made things easier on themselves and just sold the books in bundles, not individually. (Like City Quarter Bundle, Mythic Vista Bundle, Freeport Bundle, etc). Sure, people might have ended up buying books they didn't want, but much easier for them to manage.
