Green Ronin to come out with Egypt sourcebook

We are finalizing the component list at the moment, but it ought to at least include a poster map of the setting on top of the three books.

I was hoping you'd say that...

I got one request: Do not use flimsy cardSTOCK material to make the box. Experience have shown that such boxed sets (like the original FR grey, DL's Time of the Dragon and many more) don't hold well in the long term.

Otherwise, set up a spare parts department so we can order replacement boxes.

Hey man, two words, duck tape. Your flimsy cardSTOCK allows me to more easily purchase it. All my old box sets have been onced over by the stuff. (does that make me a redneck, lets see family from hills, live in Texas, use duck tape; uh oh maybe)

As I am working on a homebrew setting that draws on real world sources, this seems to be a very attractive product for me. I LOVED Testament, and I hope there are a few tie-ins.

Congratulations, Ari!!!

Congratulations Ari. There's always a feeling of relief that comes when you no longer have to keep quiet about a project. I look forward to seeing your take (and Chris and Steve's) on things Egyptian.

any adventures

Are there any adventures for this set? It sounds ideal for a short series of adventures--sort of a mini-campaign. That feature would sell to me.

Oh great! I was dissed by Snoweel and find that I, once again, still have an Egypt sourcebook I must buy, all in the same 24 hour period.

I still love GURPS Egypt, it is very focused.

I've got another one: please follow this up with an arabian adventures one... please?

I can't speak to any plans Green Ronin may have, but if they--or any major publisher--wants to go that route, Colin and I would be all over it. :)
