GR does Egypt? Rockin' Good News! :D

The only question I have is is this a fantasy Egypt, in the style of Testament or Trojan War, or a fantasy 'sorta' Egypt? 'Cause the former's way more attractive to me than the latter.

Well, we did the former in Testament already, so no, it's not the same thing again. This is a fantasy setting based on ancient Egypt. The approach is more Al-Qadim than Testament.

Hi Chris!

Maybe it's too early to ask for details, but will the boxed set feature the original egyptian gods or new ones extra created for the setting?

Thanks!

I look forward to seeing your take (and Chris and Steve's) on things Egyptian.

Actually, Scott, it's mostly my take on all things Egyptian. Steve and Ari were the dynamic duo I tapped to help me with the actual writing after a project outline/bible containing all the core elements had been written, and Chris was rad enough to leave me the delinquencies of my artistic vision. ;) (Thanks again for that, Chris!)

The input of all these guys (and more) was of course invaluable to the end result, but I'm afraid most of the blame for the general conceits of the setting rests squarely on my shoulders. :heh:
