[grim tales] Ack! I lost my GT book!

Munin

First Post
I recently decided to start up a Thieves World campaign using the GT ruleset. After doing some initial research and reading on the setting, I sat down to, you know, do some actual work on the game. Reaching over to the bookshelf to grab my trusty GT tome I noticed something very peculiar: it wasn't there.
Odd, I thought. So I carefully searched the bookshelf, nothing. I looked around my bed, the living room, the dining room, around the toilet, everywhere I could have possibly left my GT. Nothing.
I went out the garage to go through the Trunk of Forgotten Games to make sure I hadn't stuck it there by accident. Nothing.
I then carefully searched all the aforementioned places a second time, just to make sure, but alas, I had to admit that I had lost my copy of GT.

I'm still somewhat in denial, so please forgive my ramblings. I just had no one else to share my grief with.

*sob*

So....did ya look in the freezer?

No lie, I once found my MMII in there.

Of course, that was after I sent three Nimblewrights after my 7th level party....

Buy another copy.

Perhaps seeing more product move will motivate Wulf to get his Heroes of High Favor compilation out the door. I know I'm looking forward to it.

Isn't this one of the books that fell victim to the Osseum debacle, meaning Wulf won't see any of it unless you buy it from him direct?

There may still be some product out there that was pre-debacle (Amazon, for example) but at this point I think most product in the distro chain is "new" through my new fulfillment house (Impressions).

Thanks for the concern, though!

I picked up a copy from Amazon today. I'm happy again.

Wulf,
Any plans on doing another book along the line of Slavelords? Maybe something in the fantasy genre?

In know he's doing up his Seven Saxons, but that's more an adventure rather than the monster 1-20 level thing Slavelords is. But if Wulf did do it, I'd buy it ;)
