[Grim Tales] Errata?

What we need, then, is a creature with a Crippling Touch attack that will cause people to become Crippled.

Then everybody looks it up, sees what it does, and we'll all feel better that it gets used.

The Crippling Stalker ... with his big bag of Caltrops.

I'd say it would be an interesting status to tack on to people.

In a Victorian setting, you could use Tiny Tim with his Crutch of Crippling.

Aha, found it!

Critical miss on a jump check leaves you crippled.

Yeah, don't do that.

And definitely don't leap into a pile of caltrops into the waiting hands of some fu-manchu with Crippling Strike.

On the topic of errata...I just want to make sure this is right. ( I don't have
the book in front of me....)

In the Action points section, the rule says that you can burn 1 pt to add +d6 to
any d20 roll, but the rest of the section says "you can add a dice factor " (the
list of die that changes with character levels.)

Is the d20 rule supposed to follow the die factor progression or is it always, always,
always a d6?

thanks,

Just got GT, and I was wondering about something I saw in the firearms rules. Does discharging a firearm provoke an attack of opportunity in the standard d20 Modern rules? I couldn't find anything specific either way in the core book, though a ranged attack is listed as provoking an AoO. In GT, it specifically states that firearms are exempt to the 'ranged attack' provoking an AoO rule. True, new or errata?

Thanks Wulf! I'm enjoying the book so far.

Well there ya go. I have the revised Star Wars rpg and I can't recall if it is like Modern or not but I believe they had firing a longarm would provoke an AoO but not a sidearm. *shrugs*
