Nice pics, looks like a nice small con. :)

Thank MrFilthyIke. LGGC is more like a GameDay than a con, size-wise. There were probably about 115+/- people there over the course of the long weekend. There are some accounts of the show over on Dragonsfoot and the TLG boards, if you're interested in more details (just search for Geneva and 2007 and you should be in good shape).

The only thing my nearly-3-year-old seems to like painting is himself :\
I don't use minis anyway, so I can't get him hooked that way. Ah well!

He used to enjoy it more, I think, when he was younger---he doesn't seem to have the patience for it now. We'll see....

We'll catch up with you folks next year at least, Allan, now that we're residents of Walworth County. :)

Ah, so you're now away from St. College, eh, Cam? That's cool. Will you and Jess (and the one [two?]) little ones be at GenCon?

If you're now local-ish to Lake Geneva, you'll want to keep an eye out for the new bookstore that Philip "Falconer" Sokolov (sp?) and his wife are opening. They just moved up to LG from San Francisco, and have opened Baggins' Bookshop and you can see their hand-made sign @ http://www.imagestation.com/5898592/3907774562 and Philip is the guy on the right in the pic @ http://www.imagestation.com/5898592/3907902770 (the guy on the left is Gene Weigel who drove out from NYC for the show with his friend Bill). He's great, I met his wife for the first time and she's quite cool too, and I'm going to miss hanging out with him talking GH during my visits to CA for work....

Yup! Working the MWP booth and running games.

Sure, I know Falconer! Long-time Dragonlance fan and diehard old-school AD&D guy. We've had msny debates about the new vs. old rules and so forth. How funny! I will definitely try to check out that store.

Peace,
Cam

I enjoyed that he painted them in primary colors. I'll have to see about getting my 3.75 year old to give it a try.

Thought 1: I love how even the miniatures are old school. Dig the Grenadier fire elemental.

Thought 2: Gygax! Kuntz! Mentzer! Tom Wham! NICE.

Nice pics grodog! Thanks a bunch for that!

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I miss small homey conventions like this one seems to have been. :)
