Man... 4 day weekend starts at 5 today...

Back in the day that would have meant 4 days of gaming!!! Or barring that at least 1 night of a really long game session.

But I'm not even going to get in one game session... My group is unavailable to game. [/old man scribble]

We are having the usual weekly game tonight. Friday afternoon is a gaming get together for those who can of board games and card games. Sunday is going to be be a friends Buffy game. Even though we got old we can still schedule games over the holidays for those that can make it.

Dude, count your blessings. At least you have a group! My gaming consists solely of playing WebKinz CCG with my six-year-old daughter (and don't get me wrong, I love spending the time with her) and playing Xbox 360 once said daughter is asleep.

Occasionally--like, once every full moon--my wife and I will play a boardgame or a card game once the daughter is asleep. But that's it.

So a "gaming group"? Ha! I wish!

BTW, I enjoyed your wedding pics in your sig. Congratulations! She's a lovely lady.

Yeah I know... there are plenty of non gaming group people out there worse off then me... But still...

its our group's tradition that on the friday after turkey day we all take off from work, and play from early morning to late at night. it lets us feel like the high school/college days again. so rather than a couple hours a week, a couple times a month we get to let our geek flag fly for at least 12 hours.

I have the Buffy game but have never played. How's it play? Is it a hoot? Are you a fan?

Simon, I recommend a one PC game. My girlfriend absolutely loves it. She loves the attention and the fact that a part of my gaming is just for her. It's totally worth the time.
